I am a type designer and brand strategist. My practice focuses on type design, visual systems, and the development of culturally adaptable identities. With nearly two decades of experience, I design multilingual typefaces and branding solutions that operate across languages, scripts, and cultural contexts. I am the founder of Atlas Fonts, an independent type foundry publishing original, multilingual typefaces for global use, and Atlas Berlin, a studio specializing in brand development and visual identity. I studied visual communication and type design, including the Type and Media master’s program at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague, The Netherlands. Since graduating, I have been teaching typeface design and design systems at universities and art schools, nationally and internationally.
